The four-year-old child, who is said to have lived on chocolate, was discovered alive in a New York house with the remains of her mother and brother, who are both eight years old.
After their landlord sounded the alarm, Lisa Cotton, 38, and her son Nazir Millien, 8, were sadly discovered dead at their house on Friday.
The property’s landlord had called the woman’s father, Hubert Cotton, 71, to inquire as to whether Lisa had moved out.
“I had been trying to call her for days and she never answered,” he told the New York Post. I assumed that she didn’t respond because she didn’t want to speak with me.
The awful discovery was made by Lisa’s oldest daughter, who was dispatched to the flat to check on them out of concern.
