Young woman dies in motorcycle accident in the Punceres municipality
A 22-year-old woman died on the afternoon of Thursday, January 30, after a traffic accident in the Punceres municipality, Monagas state.
Authorities identified the woman as Narvelys Mendoza, who was traveling on a red motorcycle with license plate AE7N71T.Official sources indicated that due to the severe impact Mendoza sustained, the young woman died at the scene.
A team from the state firefighters and another from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) arrived at the scene and removed the body to the morgue at the "Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar" University Hospital (Humnt) in Maturín.
It is important to note that motorcycle accidents have been on the rise in recent days, so we urge the public to be cautious when driving.
